Columbia, Ellicott City, Rockville, and Bowie named on list of Best Places to Live 2014

Money Magazine recently released its list of the top fifty places to live in the United States and three Maryland cities made the 2014 list.

Columbia and Ellicott City were both ranked on the list at number six. This is the highest rank of any Maryland city.

Also named on the list is Rockville, at number twenty-four, and Bowie, at number twenty-eight.

781 cities with populations between 50,000 and 300,000 were evaluated based on criteria such as jobs, housing, affordability, education, crime, health, access to arts and leisure, and diversity to compile the list.
